MACIAG LAW, LLC is a corporate and general practice law firm, founded in 1990 by Thaddeus (Ted) Maciag in Somerville, the County Seat of Somerset County, N.J., with three offices presently located along the Ropute 206 Corridor, in Somerville-Bridgewater, in Hillsborough, and in Princeton-Montgomery. Mr. Maciag successfully argued a precedent-setting Corporate & Business Law case, resulting in a landmark published decision, in the Appellate Division of N.J. Mr. Maciag has served at the Federal level as Washington Staff Chief to a senior U.S. Congressman; at the State level in the Office of the Governor of N.J. as Special Counsel to the Governor for Treasury & Budget, and as Deputy Executive Director of a State financing authority; at the County level as Special Counsel to the County Board of Freeholders, and at the Municipal level as Mayor, Municipal Attorney, and Planning Board member.
Mr. Maciag successfully argued a landmark Government Law case, Lance v. McGreevey, before the New Jersey Supreme Court involving complex Constitutional issues as to bonding of government debt, budgeting and bond financing before the New Jersey Supreme Court (see"Government & Regulatory Law" and "Litigation, Trials & Appeals" at the left side of this page).
As statewide counsel to several campaigns for Governor of New Jersey and for the United States Senate, Mr. Maciag has argued Election Law cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court (see "Election Law" and "Litigation, Trials & Appeals.")
Our Lawyers have represented candidates in Election Law and Election Recounts at the Gubernatorial, Congressional, State Legislative and Municipal levels throughout the State of New Jersey.
